Summary:
The VoIP Installation Project Manager will work directly with the Voice Operation Team, Sales Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and customers to coordinate and manage all activities in services. The VoIP Installation Manager will ensure that all tasks installation products are accomplished on time and according to company standards.
Responsibilities:
Site survey coordination and completion. Including: identification of site CAT5e/6 cabling requirements for endpoint devices and circuit extension, identification of Main Distribution Frame (MDF) / Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) / Telco Room locations, delivery of marked up floor plans.
Identification of site equipment requirements and order via the established process
Coordination of Voice Transport (WAN) circuit activation to edge equipment
Telecommunications oversight to include installation and activation CPE network equipment, hosted VoIP handsets, customer call-flow/number routing, TN and toll-free number management, TN port order and port day activities.
Coordination of CPE equipment shipments and device inventory control.
Maintain established installation schedule delivery timeframes.
Support of pre-installation engineering activities including CPE programming/configuration, configuration of customer hosted PBX switch programming, and verification of hosted PBX services/features related to customer's programming.
Capture and maintain moves, adds, changes and deletions on "cut day".
Integration of 3rd party on premises telephony equipment (i.e. overhead paging systems, entry door closures/doorbell).
Primary responsibility for port day call testing in coordination with site POC
Provide end user training based upon established deliverables
Provide call test and "as built" deliverables following established procedures to ensure acceptance of installed site.
