Job Description

A client in the Huntsville area is looking to add Propulsion Test Engineers to their team. This person will be working on a team of 15 test engineers and 11 technicians. They will be responsible for hands on hardware testing of rocket engine components. This includes but is not limited to: Cyrogenic testing, hydraulic testing, and pneumatic testing. This team is also responsible for final checkout of the full rocket engine prior to hot fire testing. This is a fast-paced environment and we would like candidates to be available to work OT as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of hardware testing experience (5+ years preferred)

Propulsion testing OR high-pressure testing experience (150+ PSI)

Bachelors degree in ENG

Strong communication and professionalism / Ability to work on a team in a fast faced environment

Available to work OT as needed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience testing hydraulics and pneumatics

Propulsion testing

Any experience with rocket engines

Experience operating or designing pressure systems

Experience extremely high pressure (1K+ PSI)

Cryogenic testing experience

Component level testing

Windchill (used to store drawings and documentation)

LabView

Experience leading projects around testing hardware

Green belt or Black belt project management certifications
