Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Population Data Health Analyst to support a healthcare organization. This analyst will be assisting the Quality Care Director in effectively managing quality improvement projects, by providing consultative, technical, and subject matter expertise, and actively designing and executing analyses. This person will be conducting analyses, interpret results, and summarize and present findings to relevant stakeholders. This analyst will also be communicating analytic advise and statistical methodology effectively with clients, management and staff. It is very important that they also maintain public health management expertise and understand stakeholders' needs and translate them into formal requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in science, public health, or statistical related field
7 years of experience in public health data analysis, epidemiology, or statistical analysis
OR Master's degree in a science, public health, or statistical related field with 3 years of experience in public health data analysis, epidemiology, or statistical analysis
5 years of experience writing SQL queries with knowledge of database design, data entry, and data management
5 years of experience managing large, complex, and longitudinal datasets; moving and merging data files from different platforms cleaning and aggregating data and performing quality control
Must demonstrate the ability to use statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or R for statistical analysis
Ability to use Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data for dashboards and presentations
Knowledge and/or experience with external data sources such as the Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control (CDC)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Doctorate or Master's degree in a science, public health, or statistical related field with 3 years of experience in public health data analysis, epidemiology or statistical analysis
