Job Description

* Maintains electrical equipment following standard procedures and compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

* Performs maintenance and repairs on machinery, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.

* Attends safety meetings and trainings; maintains records for compliance and safety standards.

* Prioritizes safety protocols in all electrical work to ensure a safe hospital environment

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years as an Electrician

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

* Journeyman Electrician (registration with the City of Birmingham)

* Experience in Troubleshooting

* Experience in Fire Alarms

* Ability to lift, carry, or move heavy objects or equipment.

* Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and soldering equipment
