A client in the Huntsville, AL area is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join their team to help this customer to detect, analyze, contain, eradicate, and recover from cybersecurity incidents. In this role, the Junior Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing software applications currently hosted on-premises, with the goal of migrating them to the AWS GovCloud instance. Your work will align with client policy directives and information security compliance guidelines. This individual will be skilled in multiple web applications languages and conduct reverse engineering as needed. The Junior Software Developer will be responsible for enhancing and modifying ELTU (Enterprise-Level Technology Upgrade) applications, considering business and process changes while coordinating with integrated and non-ELTU software systems.

* Active Top-Secret Clearance with ability to sit for a CI Poly
* Extensive knowledge using Java & Python programming languages
* Experience developing SOAP and REST APIs in a client server environment
* Familiarity with scripting command line tools: Vim, Bash, PowerShell to automate command tasks
* Knowledge of web-related technologies HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
* Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of experience or 6+ years in lieu of education
