A client of ours in Huntsville Alabama is looking for an Accounts Payable specialist to join their General Ledger team. This person will be processing invoices for payment, verifying transactions, ensuring timely payments to vendors. The A/P specialist will be looking at purchase orders, ensuring a 3-way match, and entering that information into the client's internal accounting system

* 1-2 years of accounts payable experience - processing invoices for payment, verifying transactions, ensuring timely payments to vendors etc
* Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
* Knowledge of purchase orders, 3-way match and AP invoicing
* Basic Excel/Word skills
* Comfortable performing data entry
* Excellent attention to detail
Bachelor's Degree -- Accounting or Business or related field
