An employer in the Birmingham, AL area is seeking a CAD Tech to join their team for a contract-to-hire opening. This company provides innovative engineered solutions and automation, to help build land development projects all while sustainably protecting the environment. The CAD Technician will be joining their Precast Bridges group and the products they make are prestressed concrete which are girders for bridges. The CAD Tech will be responsible for drafting up detailing designs for the engineer in the group and they will be using AutoCAD (2D) programs and must have experience using the program. 90% of their time is spent drafting details and the remaining 10% is spent communicating with the team on projects.
