Job Description
An employer is looking for an Unreal Engine Developer in the Huntsville, AL area for a hybird position. In this position, you will join a new development team primarily focused on developing serious games and training applications. You will be a key member of an agile scrum development team working closely with fellow programmers, game designers, subject matter experts, and artists on developing serious games and virtual trainers for DoD customers.
Required Skills & Experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; Interim Secret clearance required to start
3-5+ years of professional Game Programming experience in a related field
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in C++ with the Unreal 4/5 Engine (3 or more years)
Experience with version control software (Perforce, Git etc.)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in other Game Engines (Unity, VBS, etc)
Experience with AR/VR platforms (HTC Vive, Oculus, ARKit, Hololense, etc)
Experience with iOS, Android, and/or Windows Mobile development
Experience with C/C++ Objective-C, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, XML and other languages
Experience with the life cycle of design and programming of training content from concept through project completion
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
A portfolio/Github with examples of past work is preferred
Active Secret clearance
