Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Writer to join a rapidly growing team at a large utility company in the Birmingham area. This position requires 1-3 days a week in the office in downtown Birmingham. This person will play a crucial role in translating complex technical information into clear and concise communications. Their responsibilities will include reviewing new technical application development, Power BI dashboards, and data analytics efforts, and creating various communication materials for internal use.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.

* Proven experience in technical writing, communication, or content creation.

* Familiarity with Power BI, data analytics, and application development concepts.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

* Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and video editing software.

* Attention to detail and a passion for making complex information accessible to diverse audiences.
