Job Description
Insight Global is hiring for a Data Systems Administrator to support the leading scientific agency within the federal government on a program centered around Science and Engineering Statistics. In this role, you will be working with mostly Linux systems, performing some database administration tasks, and will be working with DevOps tools (Ansible) to help modernize and advance the infrastructure for the government client. We are looking for Systems Administrators who can operate independently, and support a range of infrastructure related tasks, and are open to learning new skills professionally across a range of technologies.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Linux systems administration skills including installation and maintenance of web servers, applications servers, reverse proxies.
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Administration based or similar roles.
- Knowledge of SSL Certificates
- Any level of Database administration/configuration skills with SQL based DB's.
- Configuration management, including Git, Bitbucket, Subversion, and Nexus.
- DevOps infrastructure software, such as Ansible and Jenkins.
- Presenting new ideas to senior management.
- Assisting in documenting software design, architecture, and SOPs.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge and experience supporting containers via Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of and ability to create solutions with AWS capabilities and offerings.
- Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Terraform, Helm, Lambda.
- Knowledge of DevOps in a hybrid on-premises and cloud environment.
- AWS certification.
