An employer is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join our exceptional team to assist us in developing and operating multi-mission payloads built for small satellites in support of the Army Futures Command APNT/CFT and the Space Development Agency (SDA) missions. As an Aerospace Engineer with T2S, you will apply your knowledge and technical expertise to support rapid development and operations of spacecraft and payloads, including leading various constellation, orbital mission planning events, and post-mission analyses. Day to day responsibilities include:
* Directly report to the Program Engineer, and work most closely with the Modeling and Simulation Engineers in both unclassified and classified environments.
* Conduct analyses and trade studies that will support development of requirements and employment strategies for future Department of Defense proliferated low earth orbit (pLEO) spacecraft constellations
* Perform analysis, modeling, and simulation of space-based sensors and mesh communication networks to support payload requirements development and prediction of system key performance parameters.
* Participate in the planning and execution of operational demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies designed to improve the accuracy and responsiveness of Army Fires within the surface, air, and space domains.
* Provide additional support as Space Systems Analyst for the Army Futures Command (AFC) Assured Positioning, Navigation, Timing, and Space (APNT/S) Cross-Functional Team (CFT) Space Team
