GIS Developer

Job Description:

A government client in Huntsville, AL is looking for a junior frontend developer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for updating and maintaining existing web applications relating to Geographic information systems.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience developing and implementing web applications

- Bachelors degree in a STEM related discipline, GIS related discipline, or computer science

- Confident in one of the following web development frameworks: Vue, React, or Angular

- Highly experienced with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

- Comfortable traveling to Huntsville on occasion

US Citizen eligible for a Top Secret clearance

- GIS Software Development with Arcgis / QGIS / etc.

Plusses:

- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance

- Local to Huntsville, AL

- C++ / C# development

- Knowledge of GDAL

AWS Computing Infrastructure (EC2, ECS, EBS, S3)
