Insight Global is searching for a Member Service Representatives for a Medicare provider in downtown Birmingham. The ideal candidate would have excellent customer service skills and proven experience demonstrating empathy. There is a 4 week training period on-site (2 weeks classroom style then 2 weeks with a mentor) before transitioning to fully remote if confident in the ability to do so. MSRs can expect to take 30 to 80 inbound calls a day. The ideal candidate needs to be able to work an 8-hour shift between 8 AM and 8 PM with the occasional Saturday or Sunday.
* 1+ year of experience in a call center environment.
* High school diploma or GED.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Above average data entry skills.
* Experience in health or insurance related call center.
* Experience working with the elderly population.
* Working knowledge of Medicare, medical terminology and HIPPA guidelines.
* Some college or college degree completed.
