The purpose of this position is to provide an expert level medication therapy consultation and med reconciliation to the patients and providers and to help supervise the Clinical Care support team. This candidate will have a direct impact on patient care and the delivery of our core clinical services, stay continuously up to date on developments in the fast-moving drug field, and be aware of emerging patterns, treatment guidelines, and best practices. This individual will play a key role in expanding functionality, improving clinical workflows, and implementing new features across treatment planning, scheduling, and transplant-related modules.This is a 6-month contract, 100% remote opportunity supporting a large-scale Epic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, build, and implementation of new functionality within the Epic Beacon module to support evolving oncology workflowsUpdate and maintain clinical content, including:Treatment plan configurationsCategory lists and protocol componentsLaboratory integrations and updatesExecute large-scale initiatives including:Adding oral chemotherapy protocols to 400+ treatment plansImplementing and optimizing scheduled orders within BeaconSupporting rollout and integration of the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) module (similar to Phoenix)Collaborate with clinical stakeholders (oncology, pharmacy, infusion, transplant teams) to translate clinical workflows into system build and enhancementsConfigure and maintain:Treatment plans and therapy plansOrder sets and protocolsWorkflow rules and clinical decision supportPerform system testing (unit, integration, and UAT) to ensure accuracy and patient safety Troubleshoot issues, support go-live activities, and provide ongoing optimization and enhancementsDocument build decisions, workflows, and configuration changes while adhering to governance and change control processesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
