Remote Senior Application Developer

A local government client of Insight Global is hiring for a Remote Senior Application Developer to join their team. This individual will support the redevelopment of a Integrated Case Management... More system and the stabilization of another application. These applications support the delivery of safety-net services across multiple county departments and community-based organizations. This role contributes to the development and design of software applications that support non-technical staff across multiple departments. The position follows established development practices for planning, design, source control, and testing, loosely aligned with Agile methodologies, and applies object-oriented design standards and patterns. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to leverage existing technologies and integrate with enterprise tools, developing front-end user interfaces using JavaScript, React, and various UI plug-ins, and building C# controller and model classes. The role also involves developing and maintaining unit tests, creating system, user, maintenance, and support documentation, and troubleshooting and maintaining applications. In addition, this position is responsible for designing database schemas, performing database optimization and performance tuning, and completing related duties as required. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized and collaborative individual with excellent problem solving skills. This is a fully remote 18 month contract role. This position can pay between $60-67/hour with medical benefits and 401k options offered on contract.
