A facilities services company is seeking a Senior Commissioning Agent / Commissioning Engineer to support multiple newly awarded projects. They can sit anywhere in the Dayton, Columbus, and... Cincinnati, OH markets. This role will serve as a technical leader responsible for ensuring that complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), controls, and life safety systems are designed, installed, tested, and operate in full alignment with project intent, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.This individual will play a critical role in commissioning strategy, execution, and client collaboration across several concurrent projects and must be willing to travel as needed throughout the U.S.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of comprehensive commissioning plans for MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and life safety systemsReview and assess MEP design documents, specifications, and equipment submittals for compliance with owner and project requirementsDirect and perform functional performance testing of MEP systems, documenting results and identifying deficienciesServe as a senior technical liaison between clients, contractors, MEP design teams, vendors, and internal stakeholdersDrive issue resolution, corrective action planning, and MEP system optimization recommendationsAuthor and review detailed commissioning reports, close-out documentation, and turnover materialsEnsure all commissioning activities adhere to safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirementsProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior commissioning team members as neededTravel to project sites across the United States as required.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
