Considering such requirements as proper materials and parts selection based on electrical and environmental properties, functional separation based on systems safety and failure analysis, and efficient build processes, all while ensuring that Safety and Quality are the number 1 priority.Day to Day: - Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs- Develops basic/complex statements of work, metrics, schedules, and budgets- Analyzes results and supports design reviews- Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)- Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities- Supports the development of statements of work- Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection- Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated designMust possess good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills- Travel as needed to support various test activities (less than 10%)This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
