Make judgmental decisions as to the most effective and efficient method to perform work assignments related to subsurface exploratory sampling and drilling investigations. Keep Drilling Manager posted and updated of work in progress while in town or out-of-town on a routine basis. Fill out a shift report and accurately account for all time spent and materials used on each project. Have the client or client's representative sign each shift report and turn them in on a daily basis or upon returning from an out-of-town work assignment. Direct all personnel working on or around a drilling operation to work in a safe manner as outlined by the Drilling Safety Guide Book established by the National Drilling Foundation. Travel to project sites, work and stay out-of-town when required.
