Under limited supervision, this role supports small to large relay projects and provides engineering guidance to transmission, substation, and operations groups throughout the company. The engineer performs relay setting calculations, fault analysis, and coordination studies using industry tools, while supporting field personnel with testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Responsibilities include preparing design sketches for relay one lines, schematics, and construction drawings, as well as developing outage reports and corrective action plans following system disturbances. This role also supports feasibility studies through preliminary cost estimates and participates in equipment factory testing.
