Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of buyers and procurement specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career... development.Allocate workload, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of procurement activities.Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical sourcing within the procurement function. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier ManagementDevelop and execute global and regional sourcing strategies to support operational and financial objectives.Lead complex negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, quality, and long-term supply assurance.Establish supplier scorecards, oversee performance reviews, and implement corrective actions when needed.Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to support technology, cost, and capacity requirements. Procurement Operations & Process ImprovementOversee end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with internal controls.Lead initiatives to enhance procurement systems (SAP/MRP), workflows, automation tools, and reporting capabilities.Develop category playbooks, standardized procedures, and procurement best practices.Partner with Inventory, Planning, and Operations teams to optimize supply chain performance, VMI, JIT, and risk mitigation strategies. Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Procurement to support new product introduction, cost modeling, budgeting, and contract review.Support strategic projects, factory readiness efforts, and corporate alignment on global sourcing initiatives.Participate in cross-functional business reviews and present procurement strategies, supplier KPIs, cost savings, and risk assessments.
