The Distribution Network Services Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure supporting a federal base in Lexington, MA. This... includes fiber optics, copper cabling, AC power systems, and structured cabling. The role is 100% onsite and requires an active Secret clearance due to the sensitive nature of the environment.The ideal candidate will be looking for an hourly range of $50-60/hrKey Responsibilities- Install, terminate, and test fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, twisted pair)- Deploy and maintain AC power systems, including UPS units and proper grounding- Support base infrastructure for voice, data, and video services across secure networks- Perform cable splicing, OTDR testing, and certification of fiber links- Maintain and update network documentation, including cable maps and power layouts- Collaborate with federal IT teams and contractors to ensure compliance with DoD standards- Ensure all work aligns with NEC, ANSI/TIA/EIA, and federal safety regulations- Respond to onsite service requests and perform preventive maintenanceWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
