He/She will be responsible for day-to-day cabling requests (Patches, Moves, Adds and Changes) to meet service goals and expectations of the user enterprise community. They will be taking service requests, incidents and tasks logged and distributed within the ITSM tool (Heat/Ivanti) daily. They will be assessing the requirements, acquire pricing from certified vendor pool, coordinate chargeback according to policy, and scheduling/executing the cabling request. This is for work within the hospital as well as the off-site locations. He/She will also be required to assist in the monitoring and management of our BDF/IDF closets. This includes monitoring the health of these facilities for overall cleanliness, cable management, power and cooling conditions and participating in the maintenance of best practices and standards. It is crucial for this individual to be constantly evaluating \u0026 identifying risks to service and escalating to the proper party responsible for remediation.Additional day to day responsibilities can include:Triage daily tickets and scheduling of related worksAssemble Work Order packages for cabling vendorsManage to completion and close out of work orders issued to VendorsProvide troubleshooting assistance and emergency coverage.
