The Associate Scientist will perform bench top wet chemistry experiments to develop and test fragrance encapsulation systems while working with fragrances, polymers, surfactants, emulsifiers, and other raw materials. They will prepare formulations and assess key attributes such as viscosity, visual appearance, and residual materials, applying polymer and colloidal chemistry principles to understand fragrance?oil?water interactions. The role includes using standard laboratory equipment, submitting samples to analytical and sensory teams, organizing returned data, and clearly recording and summarizing experimental results for the lead scientist.
