We?re seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to support a critical industrial plant on a 14-days-on / 14-days-off rotational schedule. This role focuses on commissioning, startup,... troubleshooting, and ongoing support of electric motors and VFD systems, with a strong emphasis on ABB equipment. This role pays up to $58/hr. What You?ll Do? Commission, start up, troubleshoot, and support ABB (and Siemens) motors and VFDs? Diagnose electrical, controls, and drive system issues in a live plant environment? Support planned outages, startups, and reliability events? Serve as the on-site electrical SME, working closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering? Use OEM diagnostic software, field instrumentation, and electrical schematics? Document findings, corrective actions, and commissioning activities? Review spare parts, assess storage conditions, and make maintenance recommendations?
