Serve as the network subject matter expert for operational IT projects? Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system design, device configuration, monitoring processes, and management tasks.? Accountable for operational technology process analysis and design. 2. Operationalize LAN/WAN circuits and assist in network topology redesigns.? Provide technical expertise on designs and assist with optimization efforts.? Research, test, and source circuits and infrastructure devices from vendors.? Recommend and implement system level improvements in existing network topology.? Collaborate with IT managers to ensure network operations mesh with overall business requirements and schedules.3. Install, upgrade and manage network equipment.? Determine the priorities of needed upgrades and make decisions on the appropriate equipment to use. ? Install and configure routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls and other network equipment.? Perform hardware upgrades and system software upgrades.? Collaborate with and coordinate external vendors as necessary.4. Resolve network problems and maintain stability of the network.? Investigate and resolve complex system related performance problems ? tier 3 support.? Guide other staff in routine management tasks and minor issue resolution.? Develop capacity planning processes to ensure a stable and scalable network.5. Monitor, maintain, support and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems.? Oversee enterprise-wide network system monitoring processes and perform daily device checks.? Operationalize maintenance and support schedules for all network devices.?
