This engineer will be responsible for: (1) providing technical leadership in the development, design, and execution of small to mid-sized capital projects across the Piedmont and Rock Hill facilities; (2) overseeing external engineering firms and technical specialists to ensure all project designs align with the clients specifications, standards, and engineering best practices; and (3) collaborating with Production and Maintenance teams to offer electrical design input for ongoing maintenance and reliability initiatives. Approximately two-thirds of the role will focus on capital project work, while the remaining third will support electrical maintenance across both plants. Past projects have included infrastructure upgrades, VFD enhancements, substation replacements and installations, and PLC modifications on extrusion equipment. The role will be evenly split between office-based planning and hands-on field work across both locations. Day to Day:Insight Global is looking for a full-time Electrical Project Engineer to support one of our clients specializing in advanced materials manufacturing. This engineer will be responsible for:... (1) providing technical leadership in the development, design, and execution of small to mid-sized capital projects across the Piedmont and Rock Hill facilities; (2) overseeing external engineering firms and technical specialists to ensure all project designs align with the clients specifications, standards, and engineering best practices; and (3) collaborating with Production and Maintenance teams to offer electrical design input for ongoing maintenance and reliability initiatives.
