Identify and drive closure to hardware design risks, assembly escapes, poor module quality, as well as software/firmware issues affecting product performance and reliability. Generate necessary test scenarios and collect data needed to isolate failure modes.? Collaborate with relevant internal (mechanical, electrical, quality, software engineering teams) and external (vendors) stakeholders.? Provide inputs to the design and process teams to improve design quality and production yield. This can be completed through lessons learned and developmental systems tear-downs to identify risk factors.? Participate in the execution of failure analysis for any possible field safety escalations.? Utilize various diagnostic equipment to characterize failures (power supply, oscilloscope, audio tester, thermal camera, microscope).? Organize and manage lab space including testing areas, assembly areas, and other project workspaces.?
