Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP Business Analyst to join our team for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA and Ariba Implementation project. This role requires strong domain knowledge across multiple workstreams and SAP modules, including Source-to-Pay (S2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Acquire-to-Retire (A2R). The Business Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for one workstream while acting as a backup for another, ensuring seamless collaboration across integrations and data migrations. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering and analyzing business requirements, creating process maps and data flows, and aligning SAP solutions with organizational objectives. This position demands exceptional communication skills to engage with C-suite stakeholders, deliver presentations, and provide clear status reporting throughout the project lifecycle.


Responsibilities and Expectations:
The SAP Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in both requirements gathering and testing phases. Key responsibilities include facilitating workshops, documenting functional and non-functional requirements, and ensuring traceability across all deliverables. During testing, the analyst will lead efforts to define test scenarios, create scripts, and validate system functionality through Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing. This role requires strong stakeholder management, the ability to navigate complex business environments, and proficiency in SAP financial modules. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations, data migration, and Agile methodologies, along with advanced reporting skills using tools like Microsoft Excel. The position is 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced environment that values precision, adaptability, and collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of demonstrable experience as SAP Business Analyst, specifically in financial projects, and with exposure to SAP S/4 HANA financial implementations.
• Solid understanding of financial business processes in various functional areas (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, etc.).
• Experience with requirements gathering, including process mapping, creating use cases, and writing detailed requirements documents.
• Strong hand-on experience of System Testing and User acceptance Testing, including experience writing test scripts, managing test cycles, and tracking defects.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
• Ability to lead, facilitate and document business process discussions and identify areas for improvement.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and C-suite if necessary.
