Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Leave of Absence Administrator who will oversee the administration of employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA, ADA, and other state or local regulations. This role involves interacting with employees, managers, and HR teams to facilitate smooth leave processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role ranges from $30-35 an hour depending on the candidates years of experience.

Day - to - Day

Leave Management: Manage all aspects of employee leave requests, including FMLA, ADA, parental leave, disability leave, and other leave programs.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies. Stay up-to-date on any changes to leave laws and regulations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of employee leave, including required forms, approvals, and communications.
Communication: Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on the leave process, eligibility, and return-to-work protocols.
Coordination: Work closely with HR, payroll, and benefits teams to ensure smooth coordination of benefits and pay during leave periods.
Return-to-Work Process: Manage the return-to-work process, ensuring that employees meet the necessary requirements and accommodations are made if needed.
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to leave usage, trends, and compliance for management and HR.
Employee Assistance: Assist employees with understanding their rights, responsibilities, and available options during their leave of absence.
Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party leave administrators, as necessary, for claims management and verification.

Required Skills & Experience

2-4 years of experience with multi-state leave administration.
Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other relevant leave regulations.
Proficiency in HRIS or leave management software systems, preferable Workday.
Familiarity with disability insurance programs and workers' compensation.
