Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Generalist to join one of our clients in the utility construction industry. They are one of the largest utility repair and storm response companies in the southeast. They will be reporting directly to the HR Manager to ensure accurate and timely onboarding on new employees, processing employment verifications, DOT verifications, weekly reporting for employee medical cards, ordering drug testing, benefit enrollment. Their primary responsibility will be the onboarding/offboarding for hundreds on line workers over the course of a year.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience working in human resources
Experience in construction, or a similar industry with blue collar workforce
I9/Compliance
Experiencing managing terminations/offboarding and onboarding
Background in employee relations/laws
Experience with employment verifications, benefits enrollment, etc.
Strong professionalism, communication, reliability

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

DOT (department of transportation) verification experience
