Position: Occupational Health Nurse
Openings: 1
Location: Ensley Engineer Yard, Memphis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Duration: 6 month CTH (federal contract runs through April 2028)
Pay Range: $49.00 - 52.00 / hr
Shift: M-F 7:00 am - 4:30 pm (hours are flexible with arrival time)
• Engineering Yard is closed on Federal Holidays!
• No weekends
• No nights

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Insight Global is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers by providing medical surveillance, nursing, and occupational health services essential to the safety of federal personnel at Ensley Engineer Yard. This is a mission-critical role ensuring compliance with federal occupational health standards, covering approximately a population of 270. Onboarding is controlled mainly by the security process, and SF85 needs to be completed for review to obtain security access.
Responsibilities Include:
• Manage the on-site Health Clinic and employee medical records.
• Conduct pre-hire, annual, and exit physicals.
• Perform hearing, vision, pulmonary, and spirometry tests per OSHA/NIOSH standards.
• Administer flu and TB tests and provide CPR/first aid response.
• Deliver health and safety training (CPR, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, etc.).
• Support drug testing coordination and fit-for-duty/return-to-work evaluations.
• Maintain compliance with Occupational Health, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, and Hazard Communication programs.
• Work under physician oversight and collaborate with COR/Safety Chief.

Required Skills & Experience
Requirements:
• Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state).
• CAOHC and NIOSH Spirometry certified.
• BLS Instructor (Red Cross).
• Occupational Health Clinic experience (federal or industrial preferred).
• U.S. Citizen/National, able to pass federal background and E-Verify.
• Professional, autonomous, and reliable—comfortable as sole clinic lead.

Other Notes:
• Candidate must be a self-starter who can manage the Occupational Health Clinic as the sole medical practitioner.
• Must have strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Must be able to conduct various training classes for the Yard population (approximately 270).
• Majority of the job consists of medical surveillance and education, but injury triage and treatment is also required.
• Physicals are outsourced.
• Under the direction of the Safety Officer and work with the Industrial Hygienist as required.
