A large client of Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Engineer to lead and support projects aimed at reducing operating expenses, increasing revenue, and enhancing customer service. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to optimize logistics network performance, improve service levels, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across domestic and international operations.
Day-to-Day:
Develop and monitor short- and long-term operational plans related to expansion and product flow.
Analyze and optimize the flow of packages across domestic and international lanes to ensure efficient transit and service levels.
Identify and implement opportunities for network adjustments to improve performance and reduce costs.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align transit times with service expectations and ensure operational efficiency.
Break down and analyze logistical network design to uncover areas for improvement.
Lead initiatives focused on damage reduction by working closely with operations and engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with safety and legal standards; participate in special projects and support the development of operational goals.
Monitor productivity, service, and cost performance; assist teams in implementing necessary changes.
Maintain communication across departments to support facility planning, equipment justification, and cost analysis.
Use dashboards and tools to monitor airline freight network performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, operations, or industrial engineering.
Proven experience in continuous improvement and process optimization.
Experience analyzing package flow and service levels across international logistics networks.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in data analysis, including SQL, data mining, and generating actionable insights.
Familiarity with logistics tools, dashboards, and performance monitoring systems.
Ability to collaborate across departments and influence change.
