Civil Field Superintendent

Seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee and manage crews efficiently, ensuring the productivity of daily operations. Civil engineering projects are site development specific. They must ensure project timelines are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership and field supervision skills.


Position Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Lead and manage field operations for multiple construction sites, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, quality of work, and production.
Works closely and collaborates with project managers to schedule crews, and the proper equipment necessary for the job site.
Coordinates with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Conduct site inspections to all assigned crews three to four times weekly at a minimum.
Implement and enforce safety regulations and practices on the job site, conducting safety training as needed.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports daily, which should include any schedule changes or site issues that arise.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Field Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Experience with earthworks, grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities.
Experienced with "ground down" work
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and quality on-site.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Ability to manage 5-10 crews at once
