Insight Global is seeking a Release Manager to join one of Canada's top banks for a 12-month contract (with possibility of extension). The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing some or all phases or aspects of the release management delivery life cycle with a focus on implementations and/or project execution. This will involve running meetings; creating playbooks; having technical discussions; liaising between technology and non-technology teams; presenting status; tracking issues; and running deployments. Success in this role requires top-tier communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional communications (with developers, business partners, etc.). This role will be critical in providing needed support as well as speeding up these teams' turnaround times for releases. As part of a small team of 3-4 others, the chosen candidates will start in a "backup" role before ideally moving to a Lead position with the required support/oversight.

- Experience with Release Management (or Project Management with a Software Development background)
- Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience running meetings
- Excellent collaboration skills (a real "people person" who can stay calm amidst chaos)
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience, especially Excel and Project
