Job Description
Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry
to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong
problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with
specialized engineering tools. This technical area in this requisition covers large range of expertise
that DOES NOT need to be present in every candidate, the final selection of the candidates will be
influenced by the intent to cover all areas in the next two sections of this requisition

Required Skills & Experience
-P.Eng
-8+ years of experience civil structural design analysis
-8-10+ years of experience in civil engineering
-Analysis and design of structures, including concrete, steel and composite structures
- Prepare and review technical and building specifications, design criteria for civil structural
engineering projects
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, and design reports
-Aging management and FMEA according to Canadian standards requirements
-Working with the following codes preferred: AISC N690, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ASCE 7,
IBC, and, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.
