Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Powertrain and Calibration team at one of our automotive customers. We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to help lead overall function to create long term advance development road map, create, and track annual KPIs, and track/manage overall resources. This person will be reporting directly to the General manager and will support the Powertrain functions objectives to develop world class powertrains which exceeds the customers expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and Implement tools for Powertrain to confirm workload vs capacity and identify outlook concerns.
o Coordinate all budget setting, tracking, and reporting activities
o Coordinate and track labor costs (Headcount, Corporate Partners, Co-Ops, etc.) and related efficiency factors
o Coordinate labor prioritization and approvals
o Establish and manage a framework to manage business operations, including but not limited to: Schedule, processes, efficiency, templates, reports, and approvals
o Manager other business functions by leading the planning/tracking of Powertrain short- and long-term goals, training, qualifications/certifications
o Manage overall Powertrain advanced development road map and ensure funding for all related Powertrain departments
o Lead overall Powertrain tracking of progress and reporting of advanced development projects
o Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience:
o Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
o 2-5 years of experience in project leadership experience (scheduling, task, open issue management)
o 5-10 years of experience in the automotive industry
o 2 years of experience with analyzing and summarizing large data sets (Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, or Power BI is preferred but not required)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Master of Business Administration or equivalent
- Knowledge of Powertrain fundamentals
- Ability to adapt to new cultures
- Experience working in a cross-functional collaborative environment
- Capability to create and utilize scripts using languages such as Python, MATLAB, and VBA
