Job Description

One of our top clients in the defense space is seeking an experienced and motivated System Administrator that is an expert with Jira and Atlassian tools. This seasoned Service Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and SharePoint integration to support the development and deployment of new service management platforms. This role will be instrumental in consolidating legacy platforms, standing up new service management platform, and supporting cross-domain capabilities as the project transitions from unclassified to classified environments which requires candidates to have an Active Secret Clearance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the setup and configuration of new Jira and Atlassian suite instances (Jira Service Management)
• Collaborate with a small team (~5 employees) to support platform engineering efforts
• Integrate SharePoint and Splunk into service platform workflows
• Support cross-domain capabilities and transition to classified environment work
• Partner closely with an Agile Coach and Atlassian expert to ensure smooth deployments
• Provide technical leadership and credibility around Jira platform best practices
Contribute to the consolidation of previous service management platforms

Compensation: $55-65/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in platform engineering with a focus on Atlassian tools
• Strong knowledge of Jira administration, configuration, and deployment
• Experience with SharePoint and Splunk integration
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and coaching environments
• ServiceNow migration to Jira Service Management experience
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mckinney, TX / Tewksbury, MA / Tucson, AZ preferred on-site 2 days a week)
• Active Secret clearance
