Job Description

The Clearing Generalist will be part of a large team and also work cross functionally with client services, technology, front office, to help clear trades. They will log into the middleware system to make sure everything is properly processed and will closely follow email instructions to ensure things are processed correctly based on the communication from clients/front office. The reconciliations are managed within the team and tasks will be assigned to people for all hands on deck. Trades processed "today" are top day trades and anything that isn't processed successfully or needs to be corrected/isn't corrected today becomes trade day Plus or T+1. If someone can master top day, they can do T+ because you have to recognize where things go wrong. There are less T+1 trades but they are more complex, so this person need to identify where things went wrong and be able to fix it. We're currently using FIS TC. This person needs to be a go-getter that can hit deadlines and execute in line with compliance policies and procedures.
