Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join a team for one of the largest Federal Consulting firms in the world! The team youll be joining supports the Chief Technology Organization developing emerging technologies and capabilities that will be shared across all commands including Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force. You will support multiple projects as you enhance the existing infrastructure and operationalize transformation. Youll use your keen intelligence with Data to pull different types of structured and unstructured data from sources, extract transform standardize and annotate your findings. Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of Python experience including developing,
running, packaging, and testing Python scripts
Experience with distributed version control systems
(VCS)
Experience with the entire ETL/ELT pipeline, including
data ingestion, data normalization, data preparation,
and database design
Experience with conducting exploratory data analysis to
communicate qualitative and quantitative findings to
analysts
Experience processing and fusing structured and
unstructured data
Experience with data engineering projects supporting
data science and AI/ML workloads
Bachelors degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with using Palantir products for data
manipulation, correlation, and visualization
Experience with AWS or other cloud computing services
Experience with Kafka and NiFi development
Experience with containerization tools, including Docker and
Kubernetes
