Job Description

Insight Global is looking are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Business Development Solutions Architect to join our Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Business Area (BA)! Our client delivers complex turnkey satellite ground stations to US Government end users, integrating cutting edge technologies in antennas, modems, encryption, cybersecurity, and related areas. As a Solution Architect, you will develop and maintain customer intimacy with key Prime and Government accounts, driving the full breadth of business development activities from the earliest shaping of emerging opportunities to major capture and keep sold of franchise programs in the portfolio. You will lead teams of solution professionals and technical domain experts in the development of integrated, cost-effective solutions for inclusion in proposal responses that meets the customers requirements.

Day to Day:
- Carry out the broad range of business development activities including market development, opportunity qualification, customer relationship management, decision mapping, competitive intelligence, customer analysis, competitor assessment, message and strategy development, written responses to requests for information and proposals.
- For active pursuits, lead the technical solution development, participate in the competitive costing, and ensure business case alignment of ISRs proposals to the customers requirements.
- Present all aspects of the integrated solution and supporting costing to senior business leaders for review and approval, identifying and evaluating solution risks and creating strategies and plans to mitigate those risks.
- Strengthen customer intimacy by maintaining awareness of life cycle performance of programs within your accounts, ensuring connectedness of new business pursuits with active program performance and post sell-off sustainment activities.
- Participate as senior technical leader in ISR BA operations, supporting strategy development, IRAD prioritization, and technical problem solving of complex system issues.

Required Skills & Experience

- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field and 10+ years related work experience
- Able to work out of our office in Duluth, GA
- Ability to travel between 25% - 50%
- Strong Systems Engineering competencies with RF communications, antennas, modems and waveforms, and DoD Risk Management Framework
- Ability to quickly grasp technology concepts and translate their value to customers
- Passion for customer intimacy and evidence of high productivity executing core business development practices
- Experience working across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions and leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions
- Proven track record of managing multiple competing priorities and quickly adapting to changing business environment and priorities
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and negotiation skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated success developing satellite ground station system solutions for Government end users, including breakdown and allocation of mission level requirements into subsystem and unit level product requirements
- Analytical ability to evaluate and fuse multiple inputs and synthesize a winning technical solution
- Ability to retain classified program knowledge and identify emerging opportunities based on broad awareness of DoD & IC initiatives
- Knowledge of the DoD Space & Counterspace acquisition landscape
- Mature network of IC industry contacts to include government, OEMs, and large and small businesses
