$54 - $68 (hourly estimate)

Job Description

5+ years of experience in business analytics, reporting, or BI roles.
Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
Deep understanding of business operations, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working cross-functionally with IT/data teams.
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight.
Comfortable leading in-person meetings and building rapport with business leaders.

Required Skills & Experience

Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, KPIs, and data pain points.
Lead efforts to consolidate existing reports and dashboards into streamlined, standardized Power BI solutions.
Translate business requirements into actionable data models and visualizations using Power BI.
Ensure semantic consistency across reports (e.g., naming conventions, metric definitions, filters).
Conduct in-person sessions to build relationships and gather feedback on reporting tools and cadence.
Act as a liaison between business teams and IT/data engineering to ensure data availability and accuracy.
Provide training and support to business users on Power BI usage and self-service capabilities.
Continuously improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Fabric exposure and getting certified (Data Flows; main tools in the fabric suite and building fabric sdata warehouse vs semantic model)
Experience in report rationalization or consolidation projects.
Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools.
