Job Description

A large reinsurance company is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to sit 5 days a week onsite in Stamford, CT to cover for the current receptionist while she is on leave for two months. The receptionist will be responsible for welcoming on-site visitors, understanding the nature of their business, and announcing them to the appropriate personnel. They will answer questions about the organization, provide callers with necessary information such as addresses and directions, and assist the Facilities Team with various ad-hoc projects. Additionally, the receptionist will operate a multi-line telephone system to direct calls via Teams, create and manage the weekly lunch catering menu, oversee lunch setup in the café, and address any quality issues. Furthermore, they will assist Executive Admins with meeting preparations, including organizing materials like name badges and tent cards, handling minor printing jobs, and providing organizational support where needed. This candidate must be sharp and timely, and able to arrive onsite at 8:30 A.M. each day.



Pay Rate: $22/hr

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of Administrative experience, particularly at the front desk of a corporate office

Strong understanding of Microsoft Suite, preferably Teams knowledge

Prior experience utilizing Outlook

Spreadsheet knowledge

Outgoing and go-getter personality

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Past experience working with Catering companies

Placing orders, reviewing menu, sending quotes
