Job Description

General Description:
The IT Director role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all technology systems and
software as a solution provider(s). This role ensures reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions that
enable field operations, project management, finance, corporate, and executive leadership to perform at their
best.
The IT Director serves as both a strategic partner and a hands-on leader, aligning technology initiatives with
business goals, driving innovation, and maintaining a stable and secure IT environment across corporate plus
regional offices and field locations.
Essential Duties:
• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Oversee all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, jobsite connectivity, and end-user devices.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify technology solutions that provide improvements or
efficiencies in project delivery, productivity, and profitability.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, including construction technology, data analytics, and process
automation.
• Evaluate and implement construction-specific technologies that improve field productivity and data
accuracy.
• Support integration initiatives between accounting, project management, BIM, Pre-con, and field reporting
systems.
• Prepare and manage the annual IT budget, including forecasting and capital.
• Manage relationships with software vendors, MSPs, telecommunications providers, and technology
partners.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Evaluate new solutions through cost-benefit analysis and ROI modeling.
• Lead and develop internal IT staff and/or external support partners.
• Promote a culture of service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technology training and user adoption support.
• Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and contractual security requirements.
• Lead incident response planning and execution.
Compensation: $140k - 180K Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 8 - 12 years proven experience in IT management.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity best practices.
• A demonstrated ability to align IT strategies with overarching business objectives.
• Experience supporting construction ERP and project management systems.
• Strong project management skills; able to scope, plan, and execute IT initiatives.
• Experience with data integration, reporting tools, and analytic platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
