Job Description
Our Aerospace client is looking for a Procurement Agent to support our team in Dallas, TX. Day-to-day the buyers will be sourcing aerospace parts, negotiating pricing of those parts, and building relationships with a high volume of suppliers to determine lowest-cost parts consistent with quality & ability to meet required schedules. They are responsible for staying informed on price trends and manufacturing processes; reviewing supplier proposals, negotiating prices, selecting suppliers, following up on orders placed, verifying delivery, approving payments, and maintaining necessary records. The ideal candidates should know Excel when it comes to V-LookUps & Pivot Tables; and should have experience with SAP. They should also have high sense of urgency, strong communication, and be able to work well in a fast paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
2-4+ YOE as a supplier-facing Procurement Agent / Buyer / Strategic Sourcer
Experience selecting suppliers, sourcing parts, negotiating pricing, issuing POs, etc.
Experience with Systems Applications and Processing (SAP)
Strong Microsoft Office / Excel - VlookUps and Pivot Tables
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
Strong verbal and written communication
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Aerospace industry experience
APICS Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM)
Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
