Job Description
The Data Center Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the electrical and mechanical infrastructure of a newly established data center. This role encompasses managing daily operations, implementing preventative maintenance programs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
Key responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics such as PUE, delivering exceptional customer support for installations and modifications, and partnering with Site and Operations teams to develop and optimize processes. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in managing mission-critical systems within a 24/7 data center environment.

Required Skills & Experience
Skills and Abilities
Proven experience with critical electrical systems in data center environments, including:
UPS systems
Generator systems
Electrical switchgear
Power distribution
Strong background in critical mechanical and HVAC systems for data centers, including DX CRAC units
Knowledge of fire suppression systems and monitoring of electrical and mechanical infrastructure
Expertise in CT management and replacements
Ability to develop and maintain documentation such as MOPs, SOPs, and RCAs
Skilled in implementing preventative maintenance programs for electrical and mechanical systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Education, Training & Experience
Certified Electrician
Minimum 10 years of experience across all relevant skill sets
Industrial HVAC technician experience preferred
Familiarity with chilled water HVAC systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation, comfortable interacting directly with clients
Demonstrated ability to work hands-on with electrical systems
