Job Description
This interim leadership role provides critical coverage during the planned leave of absence of the VP of People. Serving as the senior functional lead for all People & Culture matters, the role ensures seamless operational continuity across global HR functions. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance, mitigating organizational risk, and offering strategic guidance to senior leadership. The interim leader will support and manage the People & Culture team, acting as a trusted advisor while driving high-impact initiatives such as employee relations, HR compliance oversight, and operational support during key periods like year-end, benefits transitions, and HRIS implementation. This position is essential for sustaining stability and delivering senior-level HR expertise throughout a high-stakes, peak business cycle.

Required Skills & Experience
- Senior knowledge of HR compliance regulations and P&C operational best practices (5-10 years of experience)
- Proven senior leadership capability, able to provide confident guidance and functional direction
- Proficient in managing and navigating HRIS, PEO, and payroll systems for operational continuity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data analysis, reporting, and resolving Employee Relations (ER) cases
- Exceptional communication and advisory skills, capable of expertly conveying policies and handling sensitive employee matters
- Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize time-sensitive tasks (including year-end) and manage urgent requests with high attention to detail
- A collaborative and resilient mindset, capable of working with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, External Legal) to align P&C initiatives and mitigate risk
