Job Description

A global enterprise company deeply rooted in aerospace and defense is seeking a Systems Engineer to work in a remote role in the greater Seattle, WA area! This candidate would be supporting the Flight Thrust Communication Management team in certifying and developing one of their main airplane programs. In this role, the candidate will be validating and certifying the system design of the avionics to make sure they meet the operational and functional requirements. They will also support in developing and documenting electrical systems requirements, designing hardware, software, and interface specifications. They will lead and author the system safety analyses for critical avionics systems.



An ideal candidate would have experience with any Avionic components such as Primary Flight Display (PFD), Navigation Guidance, Engine indication, Head Up Display (HUD), EICAS message, etc. This is a special opportunity to join this global enterprises Flight Thrust Communication Management team in building their next generation of amazing products. Required Skills & Experience

Systems Safety Analyses (FMEA, Fault Tree, FHA, System Safety Assessment, etc.)

Minimum 10 years' experience in aerospace industry

Experience with Avionics (5+ Years) (Flight management, guidance navigation, etc.)

DO-178 certification

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
