Job Description
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing holistic solutions for our customers. Candidate should have at least 5-7 years Systems Engineering, software installation and integration experience, along with some networking experience (switches, routers and/or firewalls). Engineer will maintain systems in production and provide support (patching, STIGs, troubleshooting, etc.). Selected candidate will be assisting a small team of Systems Engineers supporting our customers’ requirements and running Production and Development systems. Candidate should be experienced with Linux and Windows operating systems, virtualization technologies (ex: VMWare), networking devices, DoD information assurance requirements and STIG checklists. There will be daily interaction with the team, customers and our Government representatives. • Installation and configuration of operating systems including Linux and Windows • Security hardening • Installation of COTS software including specialty software • Creation of scripts to support the management of systems and tools • Baseline management, ensuring accountability for products and versions • Maintain environment with current releases of firmware and operating systems levels • Deploy, configure, maintain and administer new and existing servers, databases, storage and backups • Develop and maintain standard documentation such as work instructions, standard operating procedures and processes • Perform daily system monitoring, server integrity checks, review system and application logs, and verify scheduled job completion (backups, etc.) • Test and apply OS, security patches and system upgrades as needed • Implement Security Hardening, meeting DoD STIG specifications • Maintain server and application inventory and manage corresponding licenses

Required Skills & Experience
-Minimum active Secret clearance
-IAT II cert (Security+CE)
-5+ years Windows server design/build/engineering experience (Windows Server 2019/2022)
-Networking experience (CISCO routing/switching, LAN/WAN administration, firewall troubleshooting, etc.)
-Scripting experience (Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.)
-Automation with Gitlab, Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, etc.
