Job Description

Insight Global is assisting a large conservation client in Arlington, VA, in identifying an IT Coordinator for a 6 month C2H position they have. This position will handle routine technical support issues in PC support areas including configuring new and existing PCs, MACs and peripherals and performing basic hardware and software installations. This position requires you to be on-site and work with other IT staff to support system upgrades and deployments to new and existing computers and ensure compliance with overall Information Technology standards and protocols.



Responsibilities:

Configuration/reconfiguration of new/existing devices.

Maintenance, managing (storing/safeguarding) and decommissioning of devices.

Troubleshooting of all devices and coordination with vendors for repair.

Troubleshooting of basic network issues.

Documentation of known issues and their resolutions.

* Coordinate with manufacturers for repairs, exchange/replacement (all warranties coverage)

Installation and configuration of various software

Uninstallation and troubleshooting of software

Documentation of known issues and their resolutions through Service Desk

Familiarity with all IT Tools such as ticketing system, Office 365 admin, Endpoint deployment and management tools

Ability to train employees on all tools offered by IT.

Stay informed on all IT procedures and the ability to train other techs/employees.

Stay informed on where to find IT tools and procedure instructions

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in a technical Field (Computer Science, IT, or engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience

2+ years' experience in providing technical support. Proficient in diagnosing, support and resolution of desktop hardware, software, and operating systems issues.

Experience in using a user request ticketing or tracking system.

Excellent customer support skills.

Strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Proven team player able to work and communicate effectively with peers and staff from various backgrounds and cultures.

Able to lift heavy equipment (15 lbs +).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Fluency in one or more foreign languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Indonesian) a plus.

Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.

Sensitive to diverse cultures of the world.

Experience with MDM.

Scripting Language.

Experience with Microsoft Admin Center.

Experience with audio-video conference room setup & management.
