Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Consultant for a contract role in the Houston area with an oil and gas client of ours. This resource will be responsible for the strategic and technical advisory of the clients business processes. You’ll be focused on analyzing and researching current clients landscape to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas of improvement. You’ll then focus on providing business process optimization solutions utilizing artificial intelligence that can help identify automation opportunities, design scalable systems and guide the organization through adoption of modern AI tools (Power Automate, ChatGPT, LLM-based platforms). Main goals for this resource is to help with user adoption, training employees on how to use AI on a daily basis to increase productivity and secondly for business process automation/improvement – identifying business process that can be automated or improved through AI and implement those improvements.
Business Process Analysis & Optimization
• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Document workflows using BPO languages and diagramming tools.
• Apply Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
AI Strategy & Implementation
• Design and implement AI solutions tailored to business needs, including predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and conversational AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI initiatives with strategic goals.
• Ensure safe and ethical deployment of AI systems, maintaining data privacy and compliance.
Technical Development & Advisory
• Utilize frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn for model development.
• Provide advisory-level services on AI adoption, including tool selection and integration strategies.
• Support clients in understanding and leveraging AI capabilities without necessarily building custom solutions.
Governance & Change Management
• Establish AI governance frameworks to ensure transparency and regulatory alignment.
• Educate teams on AI tools and best practices for implementation and scaling
• User Adoption
o Training frontline employees on how to use AI on a day-to-day basis to increase their productivity
• Business Process Automation/Improvement
o Identifying business process that can/should be automated and/or improved via AI and implementing those improvements

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in business process optimization
5+ years of experience within artificial intelligence design, engineering, or analysis
Proven experience keeping up to date with the latest AI polices, capabilities, etc
Proven experience completing a BPO service for a company or client
Familiarity with cloud platforms and automation tools (Azure, AWS) and Power Automate RPA
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Project Management experience
Six Sigman certification
Background in strategic sourcing or procurement wit hBPO
AI governance, ethical AI practices, data compliance standards
